From 2013-2015 Cathrine worked as Photo Editor and Photographer for an alt-weekly newspaper, the Missoula Independent, and quarterly outdoor adventure magazine Montana Headwall. During the summer of 2015 she was a Photo Guide for Rustic Pathways co-leading trips in Fiji documenting students participating in service and adventure programs.
Her photography has been accepted into numerous publications including Montana Outdoors, National Geographic News and American Archeology Magazine. She was accepted into a juried exhibition at Missoula's Gallery Saintonge in 2008 and the Missoula Art Museum's Montana Triennial show in 2009. In 2011 she was awarded an artist-in-residence at Jentel Artist Residency in Banner, WY where she expanded on the theme of impermanence.
Her current work has shifted to residential home construction where she spends her free time with her partner hiking, hunting, traveling, climbing mountains and photographing their adventures.
